Our mission is to provide quality emergency services to the town of Canaan (Falls Village) and surrounding communities, upon request. EMR Class Completed
The Falls Village Volunteer Fire Department, led by instructors Beckie Seney and Andrea Downs completed the Emergency Medical Responder course on Sunday, March 4th. The class of 20 students spent the past 8 weeks learning CPR, basic assessment of patients and treatment of life-threatening problems. The 66 hour class, including 5 hours of examination was held on Sundays from 8am-4:30pm at the Falls Village Fire House. Each EMR candidate is required to pass a state exam and go through a 20 hour re-certification class every 3 years. Congratulations to all EMR candidates!
